Diplomas were awarded May 27 to 199 members of the Class of 2012 at Nazareth Academy High School in LaGrange Park.

The Rev. John Hoffman, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Church in La Grange, presided over the commencement ceremony at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. Speakers included Karen Brown, director of curriculum and instruction, and valedictorian Mark Rizko of Chicago.

Morgan Borkovec of Berwyn received the Sister Oliver Donlin Service Award for her contributions to the school and community.

Nazareth officials report all 199 graduates are enrolled to attend 78 colleges in 24 states in the fall. The class includes three National Merit Scholarship recipients and 46 students named as Illinois State Scholars. Vincent Raimondi won an appointment to West Point Military Academy.
