OAK BROOK — Joe Cantore of Oak Brook said he was pleased and proud to be elected to another term as DuPage County Forest Preserve District 2 Commissioner.
“I’m very happy,” said Cantore, who won with 55.47 percent of the vote over challenger Don Kirchenberg of Downers Grove.
“I think it’s going to be an exciting time for the commission,” said Cantore, a 10-year member of the board, who will join several new members of the commission.
