OAKBROOK TERRACE — Democrat Deborah O’Keefe Conroy of Elmhurst scored a convincing win Nov. 6 over Republican Daniel J. Kordik of Villa Park to become the new state representative in the 46th District.

Conroy had 58 percent, or 20,022 votes to 42 percent, or 14,705 for Kordik with all 75 precincts reporting.

The two newcomers were seeking the seat previously held by Dennis Reboletti, who chose to not seek reelection after redistricting in 2011.

The 46th District includes five precincts in Oakbrook Terrace along with at least a portion of Glendale Heights, Villa Park, Elmhurst, Addison, Lombard, Glen Ellyn, Hanover Park and Bloomingdale.
