The Brazilian Jazz Guy, Luciano Antonio, performed with his quartet Sunday afternoon at the Oak Brook Public Library, courtesy of the Friends of the Library.

Antonio was to play some classic Brazilian music as well as some of his own compositions, said Mary Ann Nunez, a member of the Friends of the Library board.

The Friends sponsor the Evergreen Concerts at the library, held twice a year.

“We have a concert in the fall, usually in October,” Nunez said. “We have another one sometimes in April, sometimes in May.”

This spring, the choral group St. Charles Singers will perform at the library as part of the series, Nunez said.
