Hinsdale animal welfare workers attend workshop

HINSDALE — Lori Halligan and Pam Salomone of Hinsdale recently represented Hinsdale Humane Society, at a one-day workshop in Janesville, presented by Petfinder.com, the online database of adoptable pets.
The workshop was sponsored by PETCO and hosted by Friends of Noah All Breed Rescue.
Topics included marketing, effective foster programs, feline respiratory infections and training dogs for adoptability. Speakers came from across the country to present the program.
Petfinder.com is the largest database of homeless pets on the Web, with over 350,000 animals listed. Pets are shown at www.petfinder.com.
