Youth learn the ins and outs of ice fishing during the 2010 Wonders of Winter event. This year's event will be Feb. 4 at Mayslake.

A “Wonders of Winter” program will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 4 at Mayslake Peabody Estate, 1717 W. 31st St., Oak Brook.
Attendees can discover the fun of visiting a forest preserve in winter through horse-drawn hayrides, ice-fishing, geocaching and nature hikes.
All ages are welcome. Admission is free. Registration is not required.
