District 86 Board Notes

In action this week, the District 86 School Board:
Accepted a donation of $14,480 in grant money from the Hinsdale South Booster Club to be used toward faculty projects.
Accepted a donation of $1,648 from the Hinsdale South Foundation to be used toward faculty projects and a student trip.
Accepted a donation of $128,749 from the Hinsdale Central Booster Club to upgrade sound and lighting systems in the school’s auditorium.
Approved $1.43 million in summer projects for both buildings. The projects are not to exceed $1.66 million and will be budgeted in fiscal year 2013.
