The following incidents were listed among the reports of the Oak Brook and Oakbrook Terrace police departments. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Oak Brook
THEFT
Simone Y. Rayford, 34, of 901 E. 104th St., Chicago, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. May 1 and charged with identity theft and theft from Macy’s, 1 Oakbrook Center, after allegedly attempting to use a fake ID to purchase $731 worth of merchandise.
DUI
Rasa Balaisyte, 32, of 21W549 North Ave., Lombard, was stopped at 12:59 a.m. May 6 on 22nd Street at MacArthur Drive and charged with DUI.
Oakbrook Terrace
BURGLARY
Mohammad A. Alqaisieh, 18, and Ahmad A. Alqaisieh, 18, both of 18W241 Standish Lane, Villa Park, were arrested at 1:57 a.m. May 16 and charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools and resisting a peace officer after an officer reported seeing them allegedly burglarizing an office building on the 17W700 block of Route 56.
THEFT
Between 2010 and 2:05 p.m. May 19, someone stole a vase from a grave at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 17W201 Route 38.
Between 11:15 p.m. May 13 and 12:57 a.m. May 14, someone stole $10 worth of Red Bull Energy Drink and damaged a cash register at Tilted Kilt, 17W460 22nd St.
Between 8:30 p.m. May 12 and 9 a.m. May 13, someone stole the catalytic converter from a vehicle parked on the second level of the parking garage at Drury Lane, 100 Drury Lane.
DUI
Eric W. Jackson, 42, of 411 Degas Circle, Bolingbrook, was stopped at 3:52 a.m. May 19 on Route 38 at Route 83 and charged with DUI.
Kaleb K. Searcy, 35, of 11400 Talman Ave., Chicago, was stopped at 2:20 a.m. May 19 on Route 38 at Salt Creek and charged with DUI.
Austin R. Fontenot, 30, of 8864 Foxgate Drive, Baton Rouge, La., was stopped at 3:51 a.m. May 18 on Route 38 at Route 83 and charged with DUI.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Between midnight and 1 a.m. May 14, someone damaged the front glass door at Verizon Wireless, 17W454 22nd St.
