OAK BROOK — Power remained out at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Village Hall, the Public Works Department and Oak Brook Public Library, nearly 12 hours after it was lost during a storm that swept through the area Wednesday night.

“It went out about 10:45 and basically is for the government center,” said Doug Patchin, Public Works general foreman. “We haven’t had any reports of any residential outages. It seems to be west from York Road to around Jorie (Boulevard) on the north side of 31st Street.”

Patchin said ComEd had given no expected time for power to be restored as of 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
