OAK BROOK — A Veterans Day Commemoration Ceremony to honor Oak Brook veterans will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 12 in the upper level meeting room at the Oak Brook Heritage Center, 1112 Oak Brook Road.
A short program, featuring state Senator Kirk Dillard, R-24th of Hinsdale, and the Oak Brook Police Color Guard, will be followed by a sweets table, provided by Ravioli Oli of Oak Brook.
More than 60 veterans have registered for the Oak Brook Veterans Honor Roll, which will be part of a presentation to honor those who served. The Honor Roll, which includes 12 World War II veterans, will be a permanent historical society exhibit displayed at the Heritage Center.
