OAK BROOK — There were plenty of sweets for everyone at the Brook Forest Elementary School annual Valentine’s Day bake sale.

Cookies, cake and candy all were part of the sale by the PTO. The Bake Sale Committee was headed by Kate Hall and Kim Miedona.

The next PTO event, International Day, is at noon Feb. 22. Students will have the opportunity to taste a variety of foods from many different parts of the world at Butler Junior High.

The PTO also has scheduled a roller skating party from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 7 at the Lombard Roller Rink, 201 W. 22nd St.

The next PTO meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. March 8 in the Board Room at Butler Elementary District 53, 2801 York Road.
