Resident input wanted on water quality

Updated: April 23, 2013 1:47PM

DuPage County Stormwater Management is encouraging DuPage County residents and business owners to complete a survey regarding water quality in the county’s waterways.

The survey asks respondents to assess how likely they are to incorporate habits into their lives in order to improve water quality, as well as what their motivating factors are. The county will use the responses as a basis for a public outreach campaign to educate the DuPage County community about stormwater management practices.

The goal of the campaign will be to reduce pollution in stormwater runoff reaching DuPage County streams and rivers in order to improve the health of the waterways for aquatic life and recreational use, county officials said.

To take the survey, go to www.surveymonkey.com/s/DuPageCountySWM.
