Oakbrook Terrace Lions Club raises money for food pantry

On Aug. 21, Lion Dick Leroy of the Oakbrook Terrace Lions Club presented York Township Supervisor John W. Valle with a check for $150 to help stock the shelves of the York Township Food Pantry with much needed food and personal hygiene items.
Lion Leroy said, “It seems that everyone makes donations during the holiday season but we wanted to make sure we donated during the summer also, when times can be a little tight.”
Valle thanked the members of the Oakbrook Terrace Lions Club for their ongoing support.
“We are proud to be their partners in the fight against hunger in our community.”
