Years of service celebrated

Montini Catholic High School congratulates faculty members Michael Wimpelberg (math) and Nora Kinney (foreign language) on their past 10 years of service and dedication to the school. Wimbelberg teachers algebra and Kinney teaches Spanish.

Wimpelberg attended Arizona State University on a basketball scholarship and also earned his bachelors degree in mathematics from Northern Illinois University and his masters degree in mathematics from National College of Education. He retired from teaching after 34 years at Wheaton North High School and began teaching part-time at Montini Catholic High school ten years ago.

Kinney earned her bachelors degree in education from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City and her masters degree in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University in River Forest. In addition to teaching Spanish classes, she is the co-moderator of the Spanish Club. She joined the Montini Catholic faculty after earning all of her validated certifications from Mexico.
