Grateful to Lenscrafters
People’s Resource Center is grateful to the Wheaton Lenscrafters in Town Square for providing services to PRC clients through the “One Sight” program.
“One Sight” enables low-income people to get a complimentary eye exam and glasses.
The program has been invaluable for many of our clients.
Recently, a gentleman who is the sole breadwinner for his family came to PRC for help. He had been unable to pass the vision test to renew his drivers license and needed glasses. Without a driver’s license, he couldn’t get to work. But the family’s finances were too tight to afford a visit to the eye doctor. Lenscrafters provided this gentleman with an expedited appointment so he could get a pair of glasses without delay.
Time and again, we hear positive feedback from clients who tell us the good folks at Lenscrafters provide quality service and treat them with dignity and respect.
Thanks to Lenscrafters for helping us meet our community’s needs, neighbor to neighbor.
