Property tax increase
I agree wholeheartedly with Ladd Hynek’s letter regarding recent property taxes. I have talked with several other residents and we have all experienced property tax increases from 10 to 30 percent. Calls to the DuPage County Treasurer’s Office result in the run around. Why such a large increase?
“Talk to the individual taxing bodies listed on your tax bill.”
Is there a Property Tax Cap? If so, who enforces it? No answer. Is it insensitive government? Is it government run amok? Is it tyranny? People should make their own decision and vote accordingly! ~.
