I wanted to add my thoughts to the Viewpoint about recycling plastic bags. For once, Gov. Quinn had the right idea.
We don’t need still another site to take something too. We can already recycle our bags at nearly every grocery store there is in existence plus we can put them in our weekly recycle bins that we put out with our garbage. Does anyone really believe that an extra trip to a plastic bag recycling center is an advantage?
Seniors have enough trouble getting to the store without giving them another place to travel for an unnecessary chore.
